FAQs
Shipping
We aim to ship worldwide and currently deliver to over 100 countries. If checkout is not working for your country, please contact us and we will try to add your country to the list!
We are based out of the beautiful Sunshine Coast, in Australia, and we also ship from a warehouse partner in Germany for most European orders. Delivery times generally range from 3-10 business days depending on your location.
We also offer express post and courier options for faster delivery. We can help you to track your order if you get in touch with us!
No problems, there should be a tracking link in the shipping confirmation email that you received after you placed your order. If you can't find it, just choose the "track my order" option on our Help Centre, or contact us and we will happily help you to track your order!
Depending on your location, local taxes, duties, and tariffs may be your responsibility.
European Union - If you place your order from an EU country, VAT is included in the price, and you do not have to pay VAT on your order (please note that this does not apply to non-EEZ countries such as UK and Switzerland).
United States - For orders shipped to the United States, all applicable tariffs are covered and paid by us. US customers will not be charged additional tariffs on their orders.
For other locations, any local government import duties incurred are the responsibility of the recipient. Please understand that this is not within our control and we cannot pre-pay these duties. If you are not sure what duties you may incur, please contact us and we will do our best to provide you an estimate.
If you choose to refuse a shipment or a parcel is returned to sender, we will charge shipping to resend it to you, and we will charge a handling fee of €4.95 if you prefer a refund.

SteadyHands Gloves
SteadyHands gloves are very safe. The gloves have been designed with safety at the forefront of the development process. The connecting strap is equipped with a centre release clip which comes apart very easily with any fast or sudden movement from the rider or the horse.
You do not have to worry about your hands being constrained if your horse spooks or plays up, SteadyHands gloves will release quickly, without even having to think about it. We have tested this on hundreds of riders, including beginners and young riders, and SteadyHands gloves always release very easily.
We recommend that you look at our sizing chart here. If you are still not sure, then please contact us and we will happily help you! We will also provide an exchange free of charge if you get the wrong size, you will just need to cover the postage.
SteadyHands gloves are based on sports science principles. As a rider, like any athlete, you have to engage the right muscles in order to perform to the best of your ability. The gloves use resistance training concepts to activate the right muscles, and kinesthetic (aka proprioceptive) benefits in linking your mind and muscles more effectively.
By providing immediate feedback, SteadyHands helps you to understand how to engage your upper and lower arms, as well as how to align your wrists and fingers. A good position, and correct use of muscle groups, also means that contact is improved as the hands become steadier and more elastic.
Riders at all levels, from beginner level all the way to Grand Prix, have told us that SteadyHands has been a great training tool for them.
Beginners will get to experience what constitutes a correct hand position without having to spend 1000s of hours in a trial and error process, drastically accelerating their riding ability.
Experienced riders are able to use SteadyHands to experiment with small changes in hand position and contact while getting immediate kinesthetic feedback. At the top level, those minute changes can make all the difference between a good performance and a great one.
Not at all! SteadyHands gloves are designed to build new neural pathways (in other words, habits). It is a tool to use as you learn a better hand position and contact, not a crutch to mask poor position!
You will probably find that you will use SteadyHands for a couple of months at the beginning while you work on improving your position, then you might put them away and pick them up here and there for a refresher, or if you get a new horse, or you are learning a difficult movement and your body is reverting to poor habits.
To a certain extent, SteadyHands gloves restrict your ability to move your hands, that's why they work! However, good contact does not require sweeping hand movements (except on very green horses, and we do not recommend using SteadyHands then).
You will learn just how little you can do with your hands to obtain the same effect, and that your fingers are able to send clear signals while your hands stay steady. SteadyHands gloves may feel a little restrictive at first, but the benefits you will get by pushing through that feeling are worth it!
EngagedRider Resistance Bands
We recommend wearing the bands at least once a week for maximum improvement. If you are working through a specific issue, you may want to wear them every ride until you have successfully overcome the issue.
Wearing the bands for 10 to 15 minutes is plenty for most riders at first. To start with, we recommend wearing them after your warm-up. As you become familiar with them, incorporate them as part of your warm up for optimal muscle activation. You can build up to wearing them for a whole ride, although we recommend taking them off for the last 5 to 10 minutes to give your body a chance to feel the adjustments without the bands on.
You can also wear them just for one aspect of your ride, for example when working on a particular lateral movement or flying changes, to improve that specific exercise.
To begin with, we recommend adjusting them off the horse with the knees bent. Use the guidelines to ensure the bands are even. There should be enough resistance that they will not slip off, and you can feel some muscle activation. They should not be so tight that they are uncomfortable.
As you get more familiar with the bands, you can gradually tighten them to achieve even more muscle activation. You will know that it's time to tighten them when everything feels easy at your current adjustment level.
The bands are only suited for intermediate riders and above. We strongly discourage beginner riders from using them. They are a tool to improve and refine an already independent seat and balanced position.
Advanced and expert riders will also benefit from the bands, as they help to make minute adjustments in straightness, posture and symmetry. These small adjustments can make significant improvements to performance at the highest levels.
The bands will not stop you from riding through spooks or other behaviours as usual. Some riders have reported being able to more securely sit through spooks or bucks with the bands on. However, if your horse is particularly spooky on a specific day, we suggest that you stop using them that day.
The bands can easily be disengaged by raising the heels with the knees bent. They do not have a very strong bounce back, and most horses are not worried about them coming off.
Most horses take very well to the bands. We recommend gently laying the bands on the horse's neck, saddle area, flank and croup at first, with increasing intensity, to gauge the horse's reaction and accustom them to the bands.
Like with all aspects of riding, care needs to be taken at all times. Beginner riders should not use the bands, nor should they be used on very green horses.
The bands are equipped with a safety release which will only operate if you are caught on an external object while wearing the bands.
You would need to check in with your medical team before using the bands. This is not something we can advise on, as we don't have the benefit of your full medical history, nor are we medical professionals.
We highly recommend finding a specialist rider physio in your area, who can advise you as to whether the bands will benefit your riding.
The bands are used by many para-riders, or riders with physical issues, to help them strengthen specific muscle groups and achieve more stability in the saddle, but every rider should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We recommend joining the Equisk Coaches Programme. We are continually adding more resources to help coaches get the most out of their Equisk tools.
